Accessing the Maple Classroom Tools Package

How to Access Maple Classroom

Thanks for your interest in Maple Classroom. Follow the instructions below to get access and start exploring the technology preview.

There are two ways to install the Classroom Tools package in Maple 2026. The installation process is the same for instructors and students. Choose the option that works best for you.*

Option 1:

Install from MapleCloud in Maple 2026

  1. Launch Maple 2026.
  2. Sign in to MapleCloud from within Maple 2026 using your Maplesoft membership credentials. You can access MapleCloud from the panel from the top right corner of Maple. If you do not already have an account, follow the prompts to create one.
  3. From the MapleCloud dropdown menu, select Packages.
  4. Sort the available packages by Date.
  5. Locate Classroom Tools in the list and click Install.

This will install the package in Maple.

Option 2:

Install Maple Classroom directly from Maple 2026

You can also install the package directly by entering:

PackageTools:-Install("4871381111406592");

4871381111406592 is the Package ID for the Classroom Tools package.

*Maple Classroom requires Maple 2026 and an active Elite Maintenance Program (EMP) subscription. It is not compatible with earlier versions of Maple. If you do not have Maple 2026 installed, you can upgrade your current version of Maple or download a free 15-day trial.


Getting Started with Maple Classroom

Once the package is installed, open the Maple Classroom workbook.

On Windows:

Worksheet:-DisplayFile("C:/Users/USERNAME/Maple/toolbox/Classroom Tools/lib/Classroom Tools.maple");


On macOS:

Worksheet:-DisplayFile("/Users/USERNAME/Maple/toolbox/Classroom Tools/lib/Classroom Tools.maple");

Replace USERNAME with your Windows or Mac username.

Once the workbook opens, select the Workbook palette. From there, you can access:

  • Help pages to get you started
  • Example activities you can explore and use with Maple Classroom
