Active Suspension Comparison – Multibody, Multi-Domain Physical Model in MapleSim – Maplesoft

Active Suspension Comparison

This model examines the stability control of a vehicle suspension system, and can be used to simulate road conditions and test suspension performance. It demonstrates how the damping coefficient of the suspension can be controlled to minimize the roll of a vehicle subjected to increasing side forces.

In the movie below, the green car has the stability control and the red car is without stability control.
