The Task package provides a high-level multithreaded programming interface.  It provides a programming model that simplifies multithreaded programming.  For more details of the Task programming model, see the Task Programming Model help page.

Return

The Start function creates the initial Task and waits until the Task is complete before returning the value returned by that Task.

• 

The Continue function is called from a Task to create child Tasks and a continuation Task.

• 

The Return function allows a Task to stop the execution of the Task Model and return a particular value from Start.
