EngineCallBacks.callBackCallBack

user-defined call back function

Calling Sequence

Parameters

Description

Examples

Calling Sequence

String callBackCallBack( Object data, String args ) throws MapleException

Parameters

data

-

arbitrary data that was passed into the Engine constructor

args

-

arguments given to callback

Description

•

callBackCallBack is a member function of the com.maplesoft.openmaple.EngineCallBacks interface.  When the Maple function callback is called, this call back is invoked.  This call back can be used by a Java OpenMaple programmer for any purpose.  It has no predefined meaning.

•

The args parameter is the line printed argument list from the call to callback.

•

callBackCallBack must return a syntactically valid Maple command string, or NULL.  A NULL return indicates no output is generated by the function.
