The Heating Resistor component models a resistance with a linear dependence on temperature and a connection to a thermal port. The temperature is that of the thermal port. Power dissipation in the resistor flows through the thermal port. If the thermal port is not connected, the resistance is fixed at Rref. The equations of this component are
v= i⋅R
v ≡vp−vn
i ≡ip
R =Rref1 + α⋅T − Trefthermal port connectedRrefotherwise
q = −i⋅v
