Configure Maple

Configure Maple so that it operates in a way that best suits your needs.

There are four main ways to customize Maple to make it most suitable for your environment: change kernel modes; create an initialization file; set a default User Profile; and change your user mode and directory information.

To find out about the three kernel modes (shared, parallel, and mixed), see Change Kernel Modes.

To find out how to set up a file of commands that execute automatically on startup, see Create Maple Initialization File.

To find out how to set a default User Profile that will

every time you open a new worksheet, see User Profile.

To find out how to change your user mode and directory, see Change User Mode and Directory (Windows only).
