New and Improved Packages in Maple V Release 5

In Maple V, related commands are often collected together into packages. A list is maintained in the online help, and the package mechanism is described under the help for the with command.

This document describes changes to the packages included in Maple V Release 5, under the following categories.

  

New Packages: These packages are new in Maple V Release 5.

  

Improved Packages: These packages have been substantially improved in this release.

  

Obsolete Packages: These packages will either disappear, or change substantially, in some future release of Maple.
