GroupTheory

 TitsGroup
 construct a permutation group isomorphic to the Tits group

 Calling Sequence TitsGroup()

Description

 • The Tits group is often considered a sporadic finite simple group. It is the derived subgroup of the twisted Chevalley group ${}^{2}F_{4}\left(2\right)$. The Tits group itself is not a group of Lie type, and in fact it has sometimes been considered to be a sporadic group.
 • The TitsGroup() command returns a permutation group isomorphic to the Tits group.
 • In the Standard Worksheet interface, you can insert this group into a document or worksheet by using the Group Constructors palette.
