Parameters

 x - expression

Description

 • All trigonometric functions in the MapleTA[Builtin] subpackage return a floating point result computed by applying a given trigonometric function to a single argument x.
 • The argument x must be given in radians ( 1 radian = 180/Pi degrees ).

Examples

 > $\mathrm{with}\left(\mathrm{MapleTA}\left[\mathrm{Builtin}\right]\right):$
 > $\mathrm{sin}\left(\mathrm{\pi }\right)$
 ${0.}$ (1)
 > $\mathrm{arccos}\left(90\right)$

Compatibility

 • The MapleTA[Builtin][cos], MapleTA[Builtin][hypcos], MapleTA[Builtin][arccos] and MapleTA[Builtin][archypcos] commands were introduced in Maple 18.
