Soft Start Control

 Description The Soft Start Control component controls the output, ${v}_{\mathrm{Ref}}$, in the range $\left[0,1\right]$ with respect to nominal voltage. The Boolean input $\mathrm{start}$ going true at $t={t}_{0}$ causes the output ${v}_{\mathrm{Ref}}$ to rise, ${v}_{\mathrm{Ref}}={v}_{\mathrm{Start}}+\left(1-{v}_{\mathrm{Start}}\right)\frac{t-{t}_{0}}{{t}_{\mathrm{RampUp}}}$. If the output current exceeds ${i}_{\mathrm{Max}}$ during the starting ramp, the ramp is halted; it resumes if the current drops below ${i}_{\mathrm{Min}}$. The Boolean input $\mathrm{start}$ going false at $t={t}_{0}$ causes the output ${v}_{\mathrm{Ref}}$ to drop, ${v}_{\mathrm{Ref}}=-\frac{t-{t}_{0}}{{t}_{\mathrm{RampDown}}}$.
