Fundamental Wave Symmetric Multi Phase Cage Winding

Symmetrical rotor cage

 Description The Fundamental Wave Symmetric Multiphase Cage Winding (or Symmetric Multi Phase Cage Winding) component models a symmetric rotor cage as shown in the preceding figure. The cage is modeled by an equivalent symmetrical winding consisting of $m$ phases. If the cage is modeled by equivalent stator winding parameters, the number of effective turns, ${n}_{\mathrm{eff}}$, has to be chosen equivalent to the effective number of stator turns.
