Translational EMF

Electromotoric force (electric/mechanic transformer) Description The Translational EMF component transforms electrical energy into translational mechanical energy. The mechanical connector, flange, can be connected to translational mechanical components. Equations $i={i}_{p}=-{i}_{n}$ $v={v}_{p}-{v}_{n}=k\mathrm{vel}$ $\mathrm{vel}=\stackrel{.}{s}$ $s={s}_{\mathrm{flange}}-{s}_{\mathrm{internal}}$ ${f}_{\mathrm{flange}}=-ki$ Variables

Name Units Description Modelica ID $v$ $V$ Voltage drop between the two pins v ${v}_{x}$ $V$ Voltage at pin $x$, $x\in \left\{n,p\right\}$ x.v $i$ $A$ Current flowing from positive to negative pin i ${i}_{x}$ $A$ Current into pin $x$, $x\in \left\{n,p\right\}$ x.i $s$ $m$ Position of flange relative to support s $\mathrm{vel}$ $\frac{m}{s}$ Velocity of flange relative to support vel Connections
