Controlled Ideal Intermediate Switch

Controlled ideal intermediate switch

Description The Controlled Ideal Intermediate Switch models a four-terminal, two-pole, electrical switch controlled by an analog signal. When the signal value is greater than the threshold value defined by the level parameter, the switch is in the cross-connection mode and the (isolated) common terminals are connected to the opposing diagonal terminals; otherwise, the switch is in the parallel-connection mode and the common terminals are connected to the opposing parallel terminals. To prevent singularities during switching, the opened switch has a (very low) conductance ${G}_{\mathrm{off}}$ and the closed switch has a (very low) resistance ${R}_{\mathrm{on}}$.
