In response to the need for tighter integration between architectural (MBSE) systems models and analyses that support the design information that goes into them, Maplesoft has recently launched the Maple Connector for SysML. This Connector allows parametric information – parameter values, engineering units and mathematical relationships – to be extracted from SysML models and transformed into executable assets for most computational environments.
This video will introduce how this capability helps large organizations to manage their engineering calculations by centralizing them through the systems model. The motivation for doing this is extremely compelling:
A live demonstration will show the work-flow, from querying the model for all the required parametric information from Teamwork Cloud to transformation and execution of the resulting expressions in a Maple Flow executable technical document.
The session will wrap up with a look at what the future holds with the up-coming SysML 2.0 standard and how its extended support for analysis semantics will make this approach even more valuable to organizations facing the many challenges presented by the digital transformation of their design processes.
