query version information of all Maple components
query the interface version
query the kernel version
The version() command summarizes the build IDs (build identification numbers) of the three major components of Maple: the user interface, kernel, and library. The return value is the highest of these three numbers. In addition, this command displays the build IDs of any toolboxes installed on your computer.
The interface(version) command returns a name containing interface, software release, platform, and build information.
The kernelopts(version) command returns a name describing the software and kernel (the math engine).
For information on Maple interface versions, see Maple Versions.
