Overview of the EntryGenerators Subpackage
Calling Sequence
EntryGenerators[command](arguments)
command(arguments)
Description
Entry generators generate subentries of a context menu entry, based on the right-clicked object. The EntryGenerators package allows you to add entry generators to the context menu module using the EntryGenerators[Add] command. It also allows you to view a list of entry generator names by using the EntryGenerators[List] command. Additionally, you can obtain the procedure associated with an entry generator name by using the EntryGenerators[Get] command.
Entry generators can be used to dynamically generate subentries to obtain extra information from the user. To set an entry to use a given entry generator, set the 'entry_generator' option for the entry to the name of the entry generator.
Each command in the EntryGenerators package can be accessed by using either the long form or the short form of the command name in the command calling sequence.
As the underlying implementation of the EntryGenerators package is a module, it is also possible to use the form EntryGenerators:-command to access a command from the package. For more information, see Module Members.
