Connection - Database Connection Module
The Connection Module
The Connection module represents an open connection to a database. Through this connection SQL statements can be executed.
For simple queries the ExecuteQuery function can be used. Similarly simple updates can be executed using ExecuteUpdate. More complex statements must use a Statement or a PreparedStatement.
Connection module commands also control transaction processing, exporting the Commit and Rollback commands.
Connection modules are created by calls to OpenConnection.
For information on using the Database package, see the usage page.
