Show or Hide a Legend
Once a 2-D plot is created, you can display or hide the legend for that particular plot.
Click the plot to select it.
From the Plot menu, select Legend.
Alternatively, right-click the plot to activate the context-sensitive menu.
Select or clear the Show Legend selection. A check mark beside Show Legend indicates that a legend is displayed for the plot. If there is no check mark, a legend is not displayed.
Legend Size
Legends vary in size, depending on the number of curves in the plot. There is a limit on the amount of space available for a plot legend. Therefore, if there are too many entries in the legend, some may not be displayed.
Session and Global Settings
For information on changing whether all 2-D plots are to be created with a displayed legend, see the Display tab of the Options Dialog.
