LibraryTools[FindLibrary] - find repository in which name is defined
Calling Sequence
FindLibrary( name )
FindLibrary( name, all )
Parameters
name
-
name to search for
all
(optional) true or false
Description
FindLibrary(name) searches the libraries in the path specified by libname for the given name. The file name of the first match found is returned. If no library contains the given name, then NULL is returned.
The search order is the same as the order used by Maple to load named values from libraries. That is, left-to-right order of paths in libname followed by priorities as given by LibraryTools[Priority].
If the optional argument all=true (or simply all) is specified, and the name being searched occurs in multiple libraries, then the full sequence of matching libraries is returned, as opposed to just the first match.
Compatibility
The all option was introduced in Maple 16.
For more information on Maple 16 changes, see Updates in Maple 16.
