Calspan
Calspan tire model used to determine the forces and moments developed at the tire contact patch
The Calspan tire model, which is used in the Iltis vehicle model described in reference [1], computes expressions for the lateral force and aligning moment. The longitudinal force, rolling resistance moment, and overturning moment are assumed to be zero.
Note: The port of the Calspan component must be connected directly to the port of a tire body component, as shown below.
