The limaçon (Pascal's limaçon) is a classic curve in geometry, known from the 16th century. This worksheet shows how to construct and plot it in a variety of ways, including animations of the construction methods. The method of trisecting the angle using a special case, the trisectrix, is described. The worksheet provides many examples of using the geometry package.
