Mesh Analysis with a Dependent Source – Multibody, Multi-Domain Physical Model in MapleSim – Maplesoft

Mesh Analysis with a Dependent Source

The two circuits in this model are equivalent to each other and will generate the same current and voltage at any location. The circuits can be equivalent with different parameters if the appropriate elements are changed. The first circuit has an additional voltage source which generates a voltage equal to the voltage generated by the dependent source in circuit two. The second circuit has a current-controlled voltage source which relies on the current through the connection between the resistors to the ground.
